Welcome to Gracie's Cottage

Sorry, but Gracie's Cottage is not available for short-term holidays. Instead, we are offering longer-term lets for at least 6 months. If you would be interested in getting away for a long period, please get in touch.

Gracie's Cottage is a traditional stone built cottage, situated virtually on the sea shore, with a magnificent outlook across the sea to the Applecross hills and the famous Bealach-na-Ba (Pass of the Cattle). The building has been restored to a high standard, retaining many original features, has central heating throughout and offers the following comfortable accommodation for up to four people.

Outside

Gracie's Cottage is situated virtually on the sea shore. The single track road, which runs between the cottage and the shore, is a cul de sac, leading only to the rest of the village. There is plenty of space inside and outside and the sea is safe for children, being very shallow in front of the cottage. Plenty of car parking space. Pleasant sunny garden in front, and another garden to the rear. There are numerous places to walk, without needing to get into a car, and plenty of opportunities to see local wildlife from the cottage including numerous shore birds and sometimes otters and seals. The shop and Seafood Bar in Kishorn are within walking distance (approx. a mile).

“ Thank you for letting us share Gracie’s Cottage, and for your warm welcome. Everything was perfect for us, and we have thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The cottage was lovely and warm, the scenery fantastic, changing by the minute with sunlight and clouds. From exciting drives to Applecross, to quiet peaceful walks up the hill and to Kishorn Island, the golden silence was only broken by the birds Singing – and hearing a cuckoo on several days. It was a wonderful stay.”
